Betty L. Thompson (nee Hooks), age 68 passed away at Silver Cross Hospital on Monday, November 26, 2012. Survived by her son Ronald (Patricia) Thompson; daughter Candy (Vince) Huizar; grandchildren Bridget (Kirk), Toni (Shawn), Vanessa (Kevin), Benita, Jamie (Amanda). Angelica (Brad), Alyssa, James, Nicole and Stephanie; thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Harry R. and Mary Hooks and her husband Donald Thompson. Betty loved spending time with her family and was a loving mother. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 10:00am to 12:00pm, with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
