Eloise J. Porter (nee Soerensen), age 84, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by her sister, Marie (late David) Appenbrink; sister-in-law, Judy (late Thomas) Porter; grandchildren, Robin (Martin) Porter-Bumber, Neenah (John) Porter-Gaba, Dwayne (Casey) Porter, and Heather Porter; great-grandchildren, Drew Bumber, Collin Bumber, and Holly Bumber. Preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Peter and Martha (nee Bauer) Soerensen; husband, George C. Porter Sr.; sons, George C. Porter Jr. and Thomas Porter; and 2 brothers. Family will receive friends on Thurday, March 19, 2009 from 2-5pm with a service to follow at the funeral home. Inurnment at Woodlawn Memorial Park
