June Chellino, age 83, of Joliet, IL, passed away on October 2, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, IL. June was born in Joliet, IL, on August 8, 1928. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sarah (nee Culo) Smeets, her loving husband Anthony C. Chellino, brothers Robert (Dolores) Smeets, Hubert Smeets, William Smeets; Jack (Carol) Smeets, brother-in-laws Gene Burns and Earl Gernenz. Survived by her children, Anthony (Maureen Mahalick) Chellino; Mary Lynn (Roy Schrader) Aultz, Patricia Ann Chellino and Phillip Anthony (Sandy Field) Chellino; Sisters Rose Gernenz; Shirley Burns; and Sally Hull; and Maurice (Mary Lou) Smeets. Sister-in-laws, Connie Smeets and Caroline Smeets; also surviving five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 10:00am to 1:00pm, with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park .
