Letah L. Hein was born September 2, 1915 in Algonquin to Henry and Minnie Ritt. She passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Woodstock. Letah is survived by her step-grandchildren Larry (Renee) Varys, Steve (Mary Lou) Varys and Julie (Fred) Vagts; 10 great step-grandchildren; 4 great-great step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-daughter Shirley Varys; brothers, Glen, Gordon, Robert and Henry and sister Helen. A funeral service will be held, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 10 at Windridge Funeral Home, 104 High Rd., (just west of Rt. 14 and West. Main St.) Cary. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Windridge Funeral Home, 104 High Road, Cary, IL 60013. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2107 Three Oaks Rd., Cary, IL 60013 or the charity of your choice.
