Mary Louise Langdon Nee Shea Age 86, of Joliet, went home to The Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home. Mary Lou is survived by her sister Margaret (Leo) Fredickson of Joliet and brother Jeremiah Shea of Colfax< WA. Aunt Meemee was also beloved by fifteen nieces and nephews and twenty Eight Great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Dr. Roy M. Langdon, parents George and Winifred Shea Sr. (nee Regan), sisters Theresa O''Connor and Madonna Shea and brothers George Shea and John Shea. Mary Lou was born and raised in Joliet, attending The Cathedral of St. Raymond''s Grade School, St. Francis Academy High School and Little Company of Mary Nursing School. She spent many years working as a labor and delivery nurse at Little Company of Mary Hospital. She enjoyed numerous years as a member of the Paulites group at St Paul the Apostle Church where she was a parishioner. She also volunteered at Joliet Area Community Hospice and while living at OLA. Funeral services for Mary Louise Langdon will be Wednesday, July 9, 2014 with visitation at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. At Our Lady of Angels. Internment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
