Patricia Colleen Desmond 'Patsy' of Chicago passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Patsy was born in Miller Beach, Indiana on November 18, 1965. Preceded in death by parents, John and Dorothy Desmond. Patsy is survived by her stepmother Irene Desmond; siblings Mary Margaret (Mike) Murray, Kathleen (Craig) Alexander, John (Andrea) Desmond, Joe Lajcin, Eileen (late Patrick) Crosier, Mark (Taryn) Lajcin. Also survived by her nieces Olivia & Hilary, nephews Liam, Tristan, Antonio, Luke and James; her aunt SR Veronica Desmond and many other loving family members and friends. Patsy studied Art History & Photography at The Chicago Art Institute. Her unique artistic nature touched the lives of many people. A memorial service for Patricia C. Desmond 'Patsy' will be held on November 19, 2011, 12:00pm (noon) at Calvary Cemetery, 2701 Willowdale Road, Portage IN. Immediately following the service, there will be a ceremony at Lake Michigan, in Miller Beach, IN. The location will be on the east side of Marquette Park public beach. Following this ceremony, there will be a memorial reception also in Miller Beach (directions will be provided.) In lieu of flowers family would appreciate donations to your local hospice.
