Robert Christensen of Crystal Lake Robert Christensen was born April 20, 1934 in Chicago to Frederick and Alma (nee Kreutzfeld) Christensen. He passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 of lung disease at Northern Illinois Medical Center. Mr. Christensen was an Army veteran and worked for Unocal for 32 years until his retirement in 1991. Robert is survived by his wife, Karen (nee Behling), whom he married march 14, 1059 in Cary; children Jill (Kurt) Albertsen, Jane (Patrick) Moty, Eric Christensen, and Amy (John) Caltry; grandchildren Scott, Kate, and Brian Albertsen, Bridget, Stuart, and Clair Moty, Michael, Jack, Maya, and Kevin Caltry. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, from 2:00 P.M. until time of prayers at 3:30 P.M. at Windridge Memorial Park Chapel, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Rd. (at Crystal Lake Rd.), Cary.
