Adelaide D. Seavey Nee Holbrook Age 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Wilmington, IL., with loving family by her side. She is survived by her daughter in law Celeste ( the late Terry) Seavey; a son Tom (Kim) Seavey; and a daughter Jean Seavey; grandchildren; Barry (Rosemary) Seavey; Beth Seavey; Lierin Seavey; Alexandria Seavey; Erika White; and Ben Andrew; Great Grandchildren Andrew and Kaitlyn White; Anthony Seavey; Ella White; Alivia White; Juliana Seavey; and a brother Fred (Ginny) Dupee. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Adelaide was preceded in death by her husband Paul Seavey and a son Paul Terrance Seavey. She was a devoted mother; grandmother; great grandmother; a true Nana to all. Family will receive friends at the Woodlawn Funeral Home in Joliet on Thursday March 1, 2018 from 11 am- 2 pm and 5pm to 7:30pm. Funeral service will begin at 7:30 pm with Celebrant Charles Lyons Officiating. Private burial services will be held in Kennebunkport Maine, later next week. In lieu of flowers the family request that the donor give to their favorite animal shelter or a donation to Kanakee Valley Hospice in Adelaide's name would be appreciated.
