Aimee Renee
Diaz
Apr 6, 1995 — Dec 23, 2022
Aimee Renee Diaz, age 27 passed away unexpectedly in Pahrump Nevada on December 23, 2022.
The world unexpectedly lost a beautiful soul, and we will never be the same without Aimee in our lives. Aimee was the most loving daughter, sister, wife, stepmother and friend; and her absence cannot be put into words.
Aimee was born in Joliet, Illinois on April 6, 1995, to Theresa Diaz (Alfaro) and Rogelio Diaz.
Aimee's bubbly and quirky personality often made her the life of the party, and she regularly used everything in her arsenal to make people laugh. She never cared what people thought, her goal was to make everyone around her smile.
At an early age it was obvious that Aimee was talented. She started painting at age five, creating her own self portrait. She branched out as she grew and added dancing and singing to her repertoire. This led to her landing a part in the Russian Ballet's performance of the Nutcracker when she was just 7.
Aimee was an avid reader, which led to her being extremely articulate at a young age. Poetry became a creative outlet for her, and she wrote and journaled regularly. She even had several poems published. As a person, she was a literal word genius, and she could make the most mundane daily task read like a masterpiece.
In middle school, Aimee's family moved to Las Vegas, where she took up playing the bassoon. She eventually auditioned for and attended Las Vegas Academy, a performing arts high school, where she excelled in music and received multiple high achievement awards. After high school, Aimee attended The University of Colorado at Boulder, on a full music scholarship. She returned to Las Vegas to follow her heart and life partner.
Aimee was committed to her life partner, Robert (Logan) Biles, and was stepmother to his (now 12-year-old) twin boys from a previous marriage (Kingston and Jadon). She saw them as her own and doted on them, making sure they were happy and well taken care of. She spoiled her family, making every day feel like a special occasion, and they adored her.
As an aspiring animal rescuer, Aimee adopted practically every stray she came across. So, when she wasn't living on and caring for her husband or her boys, she was busy with her home zoo which consisted of 7 dogs, two pigs, two red-eared sliders, two tortoises and a cat named Waffle.
Aimee danced to the beat of her own drum, lived the life she wanted to live, and had many adventures while doing so. To her, every day was a day to create happiness, and she was the best at doing so. Aimee was a true inspiration to everyone who knew her, and she would want her passing to be a reason to gather and celebrate who she was.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Angelina Diaz, and Martha (Marti) Grabo.
Aimee is survived by her parents, Theresa Diaz (Alfaro) and Rogelio Diaz. Stepparents Antonio Alfaro and Aydee C Mercado.
Life partner Robert (Logan) Biles, stepsons Kingston and Jadon Biles. Sister Marissa L. Diaz. Step siblings, Josefina Alfaro, Gabriella Alfaro, Michelle A. Mercado, Miguel A. Mercado and Mario Mercado Jr. Grandpa, Agustin Diaz; Aunts and uncles, Elva (Jesus) Contreras, Sylvia Ornelas, Saul (Dawn) Diaz, Cecilia (Eddie) Martinez, Sandra Diaz (Jaime) Mata and Clinton Flynn.
