Alberto S. Salazar Sr., age 85, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020. Survived by his wife of 37 years, Amalia Salazar; his children, Maria (Rafael Sr.) Santiago, Martha (Mark) Tandaric, Raquel Moya, Alberto (Angela) Salazar Jr., Victor (Michelle) Salazar Sr. and Christina Salazar, his Step-Children, Elias Martinez and Henry Martinez Sr.; his grandchildren, Carla Santiago, Rafael Santiago Jr., Xavier Santiago, James Tandaric, Stephanie Tandaric, Alejandro Moya, Francisco Moya, Timothy (Jaclyn) Salazar, Angelina (Justin) Frederick, Brandon Salazar, Victor (Stephanie) Salazar Jr., Marc (Sara) Salazar, Ricardo Garcia Jr. and Henry Martinez Jr.; his great-grandchildren, Leah, Gabriel, Adriana, Alonzo, Delilah, Phoenix, Maverick, Ian and Annabelle; his brother, Thomas (Dora) Salazar and his cousin, Librado (Victoria) Silva. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his 1st wife, Angelina Salazar, his father, Jose Salazar Sr.; his mother, Maria (Charles) Boyle; his brother, Jose Salazar Jr.; his stepbrother, Raymond Boyle and his son-in-law, Jose Moya. Private funeral services for Alberto will be held at the Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
