Arturo Lara Sr., age 72, passed away March 20, 2022, at his home with family by his side. Survived by his children, Zane (Ann) Smith, Mandy (Mike) Dobosz, Arturo (Elizabeth) Lara Jr., Joseph (Katherine) Lara, Carrie-Anne (Anthony) Smith; grandchildren, Jordan, Megan, Morgan, Sofia, Coraline, Mia, Liam, Leila, Kayley, Abbigail and Dominik; great granddaughter, Kalea; three sisters and two brothers. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his wife, Peggy M. Lara; parents, Candelario (Virginia) Lara; sister, Mary Meyers and his granddaughter, Gwyneth Smith Arturo was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving from 1970-1972.
