Arturo Marchan Lara, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Juana Marchan; children, Adrian Marchan, Jennifer Marchan and Selena Marchan; grandson, Adrian Marchan Jr.; mother, Esperanza Marchan; his siblings, Alfredo Marchan, Sabina Ortiz, Jose Marchan and Cesar Marchan; his beloved dog, Rocky. Also survived are his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Preceded in death by his brother on the same day, Felipe Marchan Jr.; his father, Felipe Marchan Sr. Arturo was an amazing, son, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He cherished his family and the life he built with them. His kids were his adoration, and he was very proud of his son and daughters. He loved baseball but enjoyed all sports and loved casino nights. Art always wanted to help anyone that needed help without getting nothing in return. He would be the one to plan a family get together. Art always had a big smile on his face despite all challenges he faced. He was a jokester and loved making everyone laugh. He was a handy man and a hard worker. He loved to travel and loved being with friends and family. He lived his best life every day. He will be missed dearly by all his loved ones. Rest In Peace. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Immaculate Parish, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield, IL 60544, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment to be held at Plainfield Township Cemetery.
