August L. Pribyl "Gus", age 82, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Survived by his children, Kristin (Ronnie Harding) Blevins and Eric (Kersten Matera) Pribyl; his grandchildren, Cyrah Pribyl, Christian Pribyl, Lauren Pribyl, Adara Pribyl and Ian Matera and his brother in law, John Nedlo. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla Pribyl; his parents, August (Josephine) Pribyl and his sister Norma Nedlo. Gus was born in Chicago, IL on December 4, 1937. He married the love of his like, Priscilla on November 5, 1960. They lived and raised their two children in Chicago. Gus was a very proud Marine and a man of few words. Gus had a huge heart and will be dearly missed by those who knew him. Visitation will be held at the Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
