Barbara J. Bricco, age 80, passed away at home on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Survived by her husband of 26 years, David Bricco; daughters, Tammy Yarbrough, Barbara Sherman, and Rose (Dan) Galindo; siblings, Betty (John), Eddie, Frank, and Jerry. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her son, Clifford Boyd; daughter, Denise Blake; grandson, Michael Freiling; parents, Frank and Amelia Kuriger; siblings, Ella (Glen), David, Bobby, Rose and Joe.

Barbara was born on March 14, 1946, in Joliet, IL. She loved her dogs and most importantly her time with her family. Though Barbara is no longer with us, the love she shared and the memories she created will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She may have departed from this world, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral Services for Barbara will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 West Jefferson Street, Joliet on Friday June 12, 2026, at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until time of services. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park II (Hills of Rest).
