Barbara L. Demask (nee Marshall), age 87, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 following a brief illness. Born September 15, 1930 in Joliet, Illinois to John and Inez Marshall. Beloved wife of 62 years to her high school sweetheart, the late Ronald A. Demask who preceded her in death in 2013; devoted mother of three sons; Dr. Jack (Rose), Tom (Marilyn Strle), and Tim (Rita) Demask. Very proud Grandmother of Paul (Megan) Demask, Mary (Joseph) Sens, Jennifer (Marc) Digesti, Joe (Sonia) David, and Tony (Lisa) Davini. Cherished Great Grandmother of Paige Demask, Emily and Hailey Sens, Zachary, Yasmine and Adam David, and Violet Davini. Barbara worked for many years at the Troy Craughwell School where she developed many lifelong friendships. In addition to being a full time mom to her three sons, she also spent countless hours being a full time Grandma to her grandchildren. Her impact on their lives will live on as cherished memories. Family will gather for a private service followed by interment at the Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
