Betty Jean Hill (nee Matile), 98 years young, born April 28, 1926, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Lightways Hospice with loving family at her side.

Survived by her children, Patricia J. Offerman, Robert (Marianne) Hill, Laurie May Leeman, Craig F. Hill, Scott D. (Rosemary) Hill, and Kenneth Hill; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; brother, Curtis and Pat Matile. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband, Francis X. Hill; daughter, Jerene M. Mosier; parents, Louis (Laura) Matile; brothers, Richard and Gen Matile; son's-in-law, Frank Offerman, and Robert Leeman; daughter's-in-law, Cathy S. Hill and Kimberly Hill.

Betty was loving and kind mother. She was a friend who had a very giving heart who would give the shirt off her back. A very creative woman who loved pretty things and loved decorating for every season including all the holidays. Betty had many hobbies, she was a great crafter who loved making Afghans for family, friends, and strangers alike. She loved to sew clothes through the years for her children. Her passion was making her own jewelry to match every coordinated outfit she would wear.
