Blanche E. Cross Nee Watts Of Shorewood ,age 87 passed away peacefully Tuesday January 19, 2016 at Park Pointe Healthcare in Morris, IL. She was born March 17, 1928 in Jasper Al. Blanche is survived by her children Libby (James) Holcombe, Joyce (Mike) Murtha, Sue (Len) Mcie, and John Jr.(Annmarie) Cross, 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years John Cross, a infant daughter Brenda Cross andher parents Frank and Agnes Watts Hartley. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Joliet Area Community Hospice and Park Point Care Center. Funeral Service for Blanche will be Saturday January 23, 2016 at the Woodlawn Funeral Home in Joliet. Internment the Plainfield Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday January 23, 2016 from 11 am until 1 pm.
