Brenda K. Unsell (nee Vineyard) Peacefully passed away on April 2, 2016 at home with her loving family by her side. Brenda is survived by her adoring husband of 50 years Willie Gene Unsell; two daughters Linda Hert and Lisa (Steve) Tutt; grandchildren Angela Hert and Erika and Anthony Tutt; three brothers Leroy (the late Betty) Diefenbach; John (Patricia) Ward and Larry (Charlotte) Ward; one sister Sharon (David) Tomlinson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her mother Myrtle Diefenbach and her father Ezra Vineyard; two sisters Geraldine Rose and Jeanette Haupert; five brothers Rodney, Val, Glendal and Ezra Vineyard and Billy Ward. Brenda was very passionate about crocheting and gardening but her true passion in life was her three beautiful grandchildren, 'Barbie,' 'Princess' and the 'Whippersnapper' and her beloved pet pug, Austin. The Family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Presence Cancer Care Center of Joliet for their continuous care and endless compassion. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will also be held on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 PM.
