Catherine R. Sefcik

Age 60 years, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at her home.

Catherine was born in Joliet on November 14, 1963.

She attended Providence Catholic High School. She graduated with High Honors from the University of Illinois College of Nursing with a BSN Degree.

She was employed for many years at Rush Medical Center in Chicago.

Preceded in death by her father, Jerome R. Sefcik.

Survived by her loving and caring mother, Rose Mary (nee Ranzini) Sefcik; her siblings, Mary Therese (Dr. Stanislaw) Maslanka, Ronald Sefcik, Jacquie (Drew) Thompson, Rosanne (Joseph) Faron, and AnMarie Sefcik; Numerous nieces,nephews and two great-nephews also survive.

Private Funeral Services were held with entombment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum in Romeoville, IL.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to the Farkas Funeral Home, Richard J. Tapella, Funeral Director.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
