Charles William Ellenbecker, of Chicago unexpectedly passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021.
Chuck or Charlie as friends and family knew him was born January 14,1980 in Appleton, WI to Bill and Patty Ellenbecker. He was an alumni from Oswego High School and was currently adjusting into a quieter lifestyle outside of the city.
During his time in Chicago, Chuck found his musical calling in mixing house music. His skills and talent grew, and he became a gifted turntablist known as "Clockwerk". His talent didn't start there though, it began as a young boy with a passion for drawing. As he grew so did that passion whether a quick sketch on a scrap of paper or oil paints on canvas. His art was as unique as his personality.
Charlie had a great love for his dogs, Biggie and Flomar. He brought them everywhere he could and loved taking pictures of them posed in precarious situations. They were in essence his children and gave him great joy. He fully committed himself to giving them the best life.
Charlie is survived by his mother, Patty Ellenbecker; brother, Joe (Amanda) Ellenbecker; sisters, Nicole (Ben) Jari, Elisa Vorpahl, and Karlee Ellenbecker; his nieces Lily, Addison and Mya.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Ellenbecker; maternal grandmother, Norma Nething and, his beloved pug, Biggie.
Charlie will be dearly missed by all who knew him, he truly was a one of a kind.
"He was a deep, passionate, and fool heartedly crazy guy"
