What can we say about Charles that we don't already know and love about Charles? Charles was a veteran of the United States Army, He was a avid hunter and fisherman, and was no stranger to the one arm bandits at the casino's. Charles loved watching the Bears and having some friendly competitions with his friends. Charles would never miss a Cubs game and would always watch them with his grandson. Charles was the owner of LaSalle Lake Oasis, where he ran a concession meeting many people and always shared a story with his friends that he would meet. Charles worked for South Chicago Dodge where he was the used car manager, where he met and worked with a lot of wonderful people who he would make laugh on a daily basis. Everyone that Charles ever met, always left in a smile and a friendly goodbye. He would make it his mission when he was out to always make people happy and go out of his way to show appreciation and thanks to those who helped him.
Charles was a loving son and brother to Albert(Shirley)Pacione and Donald and Greg, a loving father, and most of all a loving grandfather. He only wanted the best for everyone in his family, and would spoil his grandchildren as they would spoil him in return with hand drawn pictures, hugs and love. Charles left us too soon in life, leaving our days a little darker, our nights a little colder, and our lives a little more lonelier. He will be greatly missed as he was greatly loved by a lot of people and he was a friend to everyone. Charles just know wherever you have gone, you will be eternally loved and remembered and cherished in all of our hearts and thoughts. We love you.
