Obituary

Clarence Charles Clark a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and great uncle, passed away in his sleep at age 82 on November 6, 2022, due to a heart attack.

Clarence, the son of the late Milford and Dorothy, is survived by his four children; Catherine Clark (Brian Smith), Lillian Clark (Johnleo Devenecia), Elizabeth (Casey) Duchon and Geoffrey Clark (Alberto Guzman); three grandchildren, Jonathan Smith, Joshua Smith and Jessica Smith; siblings, Beverly (late brother-in-law, Albert) Gibbons, Betty (late brother-in-law, Matthias) Ruh, Ella Mae Clark, late Richard Clark and Rosemary (Carlo) Grimelli.

Clarence is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served for 22 honorable years in the U.S. Air Force, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant where he earned several awards, certificates, and medals. He also served as a United States Postal Service mail carrier for 21 years through rain, shine and our Chicago winters.

He loved carpentry and working with his hands as he created beautiful furniture pieces in his free time. And for his vice of gambling, he always said if he won big, he wanted to buy a large house, help his family financially and donate to his fellow veteran brothers. Cheers to you with a Dr. Pepper in hand, we love you and may you rest in paradise.
