Daniel J. Keca Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Age 93. Survived by his wife of 71 years Margaret (Gabrys) Keca. His two sons, Daniel (Barbara) Keca Jr. and Richard (Mary Jo) Keca and his son in law Mark Worden. Also survived by his eight grandchildren; Jason (Jennifer) Worden, Joel (Rachel) Worden, Jodie Luke, Kristofer (Ashley) Keca, Richard Keca, Joseph (Fiancé Brittany) Keca, and Stephanie (friend Adam) Keca. Eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Worden; granddaughter Kerry Ann Keca; parents and numerous brothers and sisters. Daniel was a graduate of Lockport Township High School. Member of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Joliet. Daniel was in the United States Coast Guard serving in World War II. Daniel retired from Sears Roebuck and Company after 40 years. He was known as Mr. Fix It with his family and friends, no job was to big. Dan was an avid Cubs fan and celebrated the 2016 win. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staffs at Rock Run Memory Care and Kindred Hospice.
