David A Barbic, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at his home with his loving family at his side.

Survived by his lifelong partner of 43 years, Sandy Small; his daughters, Brenda Hitchcock, Debbie Pasavento, and Jill Szambellam; his boys, Curtis (Jennifer) Small and John Small; his cousin Larry Barbic and numerous grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Marjorie Barbic.

Dave retired from the iron worker local 444 and PSD 202. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Joliet. He enjoyed life to the fullest love and enjoyed riding horses and working around the farm. Dave also loved family gatherings.

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at Farkas Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place the same evening at 6:00 P.M. also at the funeral home.
