David A. Davidson, age 68, of Dwight, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Morris Hospital with his loving family at his side.

Survived by his life partner of 29 years Sharon Kinzel, his sons Steven (Lori) Davidson, Dale (Mandy) Davidson and Wess (Katie) Davidson, his grandchildren Kilen, Cambree, Beau, and Brystol, his siblings Sandy Pickett, Sonny Davidson, Don (Mary Beth) Davidson, Jim (Becky) Davidson, and Kelly (Herman) Tomano and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Norma (nee Kelley) Davidson, his sister Jeannie Pierce, his sister-in-law Colleen Davidson, and his furry companions Shadow, Thor, and Dozer.

David was employed at Rampa Construction, Empress and TCI Construction. David enjoyed spending time at Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock, Duffy's and the town of Utica. He also enjoyed the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Bears and was life time fan of Tiger Woods. David was a people person who never met a stranger. He was full of charisma and loved making people laugh.
