David 'Woody' Edmundson passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2015 at home. He was born on May 11, 1962 in Blue Island, IL. To Thomas and Donna (nee Dillon) Edmundson; his children Heather Edmundson and David Edmundson Jr.; sister Deborah McGuyer Murray; brothers Thomas and Scott (Laura) Edmundson; grandchildren Bam and Karma Edmundson; Lillie Anne and Laney Flowers; and special friend Laura Tarquinio. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Donna Edmundson; sister Denise Edmundson and grandson Andrew Edmundson. David was a lifelong resident of Tinley Park. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren. He was an active member of both the V.F.W. and American Legion in Tinley Park where he also enjoyed volunteering. A private service was held on August 18, 2015. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the V.F. W. 17147 Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park, Illinois.
