Dawn M. Wierzbinski, age 62, passed on Friday, June 16, 2023.

Survived by her children, Caitlin Wierzbinski, and Tyler (Colleen) Wierzbinski; grandson, Wellington "Nugget" Jackson; father, Jack Facinelli; sister, Lyn (Mark) Michalak and her brother, Eddie Lavender.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey R. Wierzbinski and her mother, Shirley Lavender.

Dawn was a lover of animals and nature. She especially loved her dog, Bear who no doubt welcomed her home. She also loved her new puppy, Cheetos. If you knew Dawn or had ever been to her house, there wasn't a place outside where you couldn't hear the beautiful tunes of her wind chimes. Dawn had a passion for feeding birds and even the squirrels who took up residence in the tree in her backyard. She spent her time observing all the beautiful flowers and animals that would stop by. She loved her family and friends to the moon and back.

Memorial Visitation for Dawn will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 416 N. Chicago St. Joliet, IL 60432 on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. Per the request of Dawn, a private burial with immediate family only to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lightways Hospice will be appreciated.
