Denise S. Dively, age 60, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. Survived by her children, David (Tonya) Bell, Melissa Almazan and Stephen (Markie) Dively; grandchildren, Haleigh, Rebecca, Caleb, Mackenzie, Layla, and Spencer; sister, Nancy Murray and her brother, Glen (Deanna) Meadows. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Perry Dively; infant daughter, Heather L. Dively; parents, Glen (Glenna) Meadows and her sister, Barb Callans. Denise was born September 15, 1961, in Joliet at St. Joseph Hospital. She attended Paris High School, Class of 1979. She married Perry Dively at the United Methodist Church in Lockport on July 10, 1981. Denise attended Joliet Junior college and graduated in 1994 with two associate degrees. One in micro computers for business and computer programing. Denise was an avid pet lover and loved her various cats and dogs over the years. She loved to spend time with her family. Denise looked forward each year to baking Christmas cookies with her children and grandchildren. Denise loved to enjoy long conversations with her sibling's remembering years that have gone by and all the good times they had. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services for Denise will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431 Friday, August 12, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
