It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Diane M. Evans of Plainfield, IL. Diane was born in Joliet, Il and she passed on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the age of 82. Leaving to morn her dear family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Harold Isberg and Madine Mason; her brother, Dale Boden and her sister, Norma Rothlisberger. Survived by her son, Eric Speas and daughter-in-law, Erin Speas (nee Ruddy); three grandchildren, Jacob Speas, Kyle Speas and Elaina Speas; her nephew, David Rothlisberger. Diane had a career for 20 years with the Illinois National Guard, Inspector Generals Office in Springfield, IL. After her retirement, she focused on spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and she loved to spend time and play games with her grandchildren. Private family services will be held. Per Diane's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 will be appreciated.
