Donald J Frejd Donald went home to be with the Lord Saturday May 21, 2017 at Regency Care of Morris. He is survived by his mother Helen J Brehm,, his brothers Russell (Sylvia) Frejd, Lynchburg, VA, William (Barbara) Frejd, Lockport, IL, Step-brother Tim (Monica) Brehm, Morris, IL, Step-sisters Cheryl (David) Johnson, Morris, IL, Nancy Hextell, San Jose, CA, Erica (Larry) Mann, Yuma, AZ. Preceded in death by his father Robert W. Frejd and Step-father Charles L. Brehm. Donald was born in Joliet,IL. April 8, 1963, he graduated from Joliet Central High School in 1982. He was a lifelong member of the Larkin Baptist Church in Joliet. Donald accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior as a teenager and was baptized by his dad at the Larkin Baptist Church where the family attended for many years. Donald was a resident of Shady Oaks East Residential Care Facility in Homer Glen receiving wonderful care for 13 years, most recently he was a resident of Regency Care of Morris where he received their loving care for 21 months. A memorial service for Donald will be held at the Woodlawn Funeral Home 3201 W. Jefferson Street in Joliet IL on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10 am. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park .
