Donald L. Lockwood Age 74, passed away Sunday December 11, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet after a long illness. Donald is survived his devoted wife of 47 years Joyce (nee Nelsen) Lockwood, his children Daniel C (Toshiko) Lockwood of Eugene, Oregon, Leanne (Steven) Cevetan of Frankfurt Germany , 7 grandchildren, and a brother Dale (Carol) Lockwood of Channahon. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Marjorie Lockwood and a Infant sister Nancy Lockwood. Donald attended Stone Hill Bible Church. He was a graduate of Joliet Central Hisg School and JJC. A member of the Joliet Antique Car club and a member of Sheet Metal workers Local #265. He was also employed by Poehner, Dillman and Mahalik HAVC. He proudly served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Funeral Services for Donald will be held Friday December 16, 2016 at the Woodlawn Funeral Home in Joliet 11am with Pastor Greg Munyon officiating. Internment Woodlawn Memorial Park I . Family will receive friends Friday morning December 16, 2016, 9 am - 11 am. In lieu of flowers Memorials to the Salvation Army or Stone Hill Bible Church would be appreciated.
