Dorothy V. Kelly age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Survived by her children, John (Tammy Ventrello-deceased) Kelly, Jodi Price, Tom (Loretta) Kelly, Tim Kelly, Nancy (Greg) Martinez, Larry (David Carrithers) Kelly, Sue (Russ) Nevills and Pat (Kathy) Kelly; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Carl (Bev) Ringwald, Bill (Sandy) Ringwald, Rich Ringwald, Ed (Mary- deceased) Ringwald, Donna (Jim- deceased) Finch, Ellen Bowman, and Judy Meyers. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Kelly; daughter, Diane Pehlke; granddaughter, Alyson Kelly; parents, Carl (Veronica) Ringwald and her sister, Joanne (John) Johnson. Dorothy was born in Chicago on February 22, 1935. She loved to attend her children and grandchildren sporting events. Dorothy's family was her love of life. She loved to bowl and going to the Grundy County Speedway to watch the races. Dorothy was an avid Chicago White Sox fan. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431 Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
