Eileen B. Sheridan GRI, age 94, of Joliet, IL, passed away with her family by her side, on Monday, December 17, 2018 after her battle with Alzheimer's disease. Survived by her children, Barbara Diane (Willie) Kelley, Michael Sheridan and Kathy Kimberly Sheridan; her grandchildren, Cindy Muzzarelli, David Muzzarelli, Tammi Kelley, Suzie (Scott) Mustoe, Kenny (Maureen) Bunch, Jennifer Lisa Randolph, Jamie Zak Randolph, Jeremy Randolph and Anna Williams; a brother Richard Dorsey, several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Also survived by cousins, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William Clyde Sheridan, and her parents Albert Dorsey and Saveta Pedersen. Eileen was born in Chicago, and grew up in Joliet where she graduated from Joliet Township High School. She was a successful Real Estate Agent and proprietor. Eileen enjoyed travelling around the world, gardening at her home, volunteering at the Rialto Theatre in Joliet, musical stage productions, listening to the Joliet American Legion Band and pipe organ concerts. The family would like to thank the employees at Silverado Naperville for their loving care and the home care she received from Jess Griffith and Melody Lynch. Funeral services will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431 on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00AM. Visitation from 9:00 A.M. until time of services. Interment will be at Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation will be at Farkas Funeral Home on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M.
