Evelyn A. Wise (Alberico), age 92, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, February 23, 2025.

Survived by daughter, Linda (Ronald Sr.) Robinson; daughter in law, Judy Smrekar; grandchildren, Ronald (Brenda Harris) Robinson Jr., Wayne (Stephanie) Alberico Jr. and Jennifer Alberico; great grandchildren, Jacob Alberico, Krystal (Wes) Calderon, and Melissa (Nick) Hicks; great-great grandchildren, Jose, Madelyn, Emiliano Calderon, Chase Miranda, Nicholas, and Avery Hicks; stepdaughter, Rene (Bruce) Albers. Numerous, nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Alberico; second husband, Robert Wise; son, Wayne Alberico Sr., children in infancy, Donald and Sharon; parents, John (Louise) Gernenz Jr.; sisters and brothers, and her grandson, Raymond Robinson.

Funeral services for Evelyn will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 am at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until time of services. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Joliet. Per her wishes, please dress causal and no flowers.
