Faride C. Daniel, age 80, passed away with her family at her side on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Survived by her children, Elie (Therese) Daniel, Mary Elkhoury, Sami (Georgette) Daniel and Victor (Kim) Daniel; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and her sisters, Samia Skaf and Salwa Taleb. Also survive are seven nephews and five nieces. Preceded in death by her husband, Chukri Daniel; her parents, Sami (Rose) Klieb; her brother, Salim Klieb and her son-in-law, William Elkhoury. Condolences from the Daniel, Kordahi, Elkhoury, Beshara, Kacmarcik, Skaf, Taleb and Klieb families and many friends. Faride was born on September 11, 1940 in Lebanon. She married the love of her life Chukri Daniel in 1956. Faride moved her family to the United States in 1980. She raised four children and worked as a dietary assistant at St Joseph Medical Center. Faride was a beloved wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Entombment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. In lieu of flowers, memorials made in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated.
