G. June Hamilton, (nee Harvey) age 90, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on, Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Born in Chicago, IL on September 20, 1932. Lived in Joliet, IL from age 6 until 1960 and in Lockport, IL until her passing.

Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, George Hamilton; parents, Glenn and Gudrun Harvey and her sister, Eileen Green.

Survived by her daughter, Jill (Bill, Sr.) Matiasek; stepdaughters, Pat (David) Mundt and Phyllis Adams; stepson, Larry Hamilton; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren and her brother, Glenn (Joanne) Harvey. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to thank Amy her nurse, Elda and Apex Hospice for their care and kindness.

Per June's wishes cremation rites were accorded. Private inurnment will be beside her husband at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
