Formerly Irene Huff, she was born Oct. 31, 1923 in McHenry County on April 4, 1942, she married Laverne C. Hackman in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 1997. She enjoyed life, sharing her baked goods and playing cards with friends and family. having time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much happiness. She was a member of the Moose. Arrangements were handled by Windridge Funeral Home, 104 High Road, Cary, IL 60013.
