Isaak Gerardo
Torres
Nov 8, 2007 — Apr 9, 2026
Isaak Gerardo Torres, known lovingly to many as Isaak Fades, was born on November 8, 2007, in Naperville, Illinois, and passed away on April 9, 2026, in Shorewood, Illinois, following a tragic car accident.
Isaak lived his 18 years with a spirit that was bright, determined, and deeply rooted in faith, family, and purpose. Those who knew him will remember him as loving, kind, and funny, a young man whose presence could lift a room and whose laughter could make even ordinary moments feel special. He brought warmth, silliness, and genuine light to the people around him, and he had a remarkable gift for making others feel seen, valued, and encouraged.
Isaak was deeply loved by his mother, Deyanira, his father, Gerardo, and his siblings, Lani, Benjamin, Daya, and Gerardo Jr. He was also cherished by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom held a special place in his heart. He treasured time with his family, his girlfriend, and his friends, and he never took those relationships for granted. The love he gave so freely will remain a lasting testimony to the beautiful way he lived. His family and loved ones will carry his memory as a sacred part of their lives, holding close the joy he brought and the bond he shared with each of them.
Isaak was an 18-year-old senior at Joliet Catholic Academy, only four weeks away from graduation. He had already been offered an internship and was preparing to continue his education in construction management at COD. He approached his future with ambition and confidence, and he had already begun building the path toward a meaningful and successful life. He was talented, hardworking, and full of promise, and he understood the value of discipline, growth, and perseverance. His life was a reminder that purpose is often revealed through dedication, and Isaak gave his best in everything he did. He also found joy and identity in his work and activities. Isaak worked as a barber and took great pride in his skill and dedication. He was an athlete who played four years of soccer and also played volleyball. Whether he was cutting hair, competing on the field, or spending time with the people he loved, he carried himself with energy, focus, and heart. He loved riding his mini bike, enjoyed barbering, and found happiness in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He was the kind of young man who did not just dream about the future, but actively prepared for it with effort and determination.
Isaak will be remembered for his drive, his passion, and the bright future he had ahead of him. Though his time on earth was far too short, his impact was not small. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, ambition, and faith. His life speaks to all who knew him and to all who hear his story, reminding us to cherish every day, to love deeply, and to walk boldly in the purpose God places before us. In times of grief, we are called not only to mourn but also to remember that a life lived with love is never wasted. "Forever loved, forever remembered, forever in God's care.
