Isabel Rodriguez (nee Diaz), age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Survived by her children, Joseph (Barbara) Rodriguez and Lisa (Jeffrey Suksdorf) McCorkhill; grandchildren, Cindy (Jim Davidson) Francisco, Nicholas (Angela) Rodriguez, Stephanie (Cale) Ripsch, Matthew (Heather) Rodriguez, Dylan McCorkhill, and Noah McCorkhill; great grandchildren, Ryan, Kaela, Kiley, Mary, Evan, Brendan, Cora, Ava, Rhylee, Logan, and Weston; great-great grandson, Ryker and her siblings, Manuel Diaz, Carmen (Daniel) Enriquez, Theresa Lopez, Lillian James and Esther Rodriguez. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Rodriguez; son, Marc Rodriguez; parents, Emilio (Vicenta) Diaz and her siblings, Alphonse, Rose, Paul, Margaret, and a brother in infancy. Isabel was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and friend. She was always one to give someone guidance in any way possible. Isabel worked as a secretary for the Joliet Public School District 86 for 20 plus years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services for Isabel will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St., Joliet, IL, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial to Lightways Hospice will be appreciated.
