James Neal Wagner Sr., age 89 of Joliet, IL, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022. He was born on February 17, 1933, in Chicago, IL. Husband of Roberta E. Wagner (nee Burgchardt).

James was the son of the late Henry J. Wagner and the late Mabel C. Wagner (nee Merrill).

Beloved father to Linda (Norman) Johnson, Carolynn (Norman) Stuba, Charlene (Bill) Gallion, the late James N. Wagner Jr., and the late Heidi J. Wagner.

Cherished grandfather to James III (Julie) Wagner, Norman III Johnson, Jodi Crum, Nicholas (Amy) Johnson, Jennifer (Bryan) Shell, Kati (Joshua) Kor, Crystal (Justin) Montgomery, Brittany (Ryan) Crose, Bryan (Jenna) Stuba, and Bradley (fiancé Ashley) Stuba; great grandchildren, McKenna (fiancé Zachary), Makenzi, Chase, Noah, Ashton, Lucas, Macy, Miayla, Lauren, Lilah, Mersadies, Madelyn, Payton, Matiyas, Eden, Honor, McKenley, Jackson, Megan, Matthew, Morgan, Michael, Zachary, and Nicholas.

Fond brother to, Irene (Richard) Synders, brother-in-law to Marian Wagner, the later Henry, the late Melissa, the late Edward, the late Dorothy, the late Gladys, the late Lawrence, and the late Eleanor.

Internment to be held privately at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
