Obituary

Javier Avila, age 31, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dalia Perez; his mother, Teresa Avila; and his brothers and sisters: Everardo Farias, Margarita Mosso, Rosario Farias, Amadeo Avila, Delia Aguilar, Nelida Baez, Elvia Perez, Teresa Sandoval, Efrain Avila, Juan Avila, Ernestina Rivera, and Oscar Avila. He is also survived by many other beloved family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Avila.

Javier lived his life surrounded by those he loved. He lived freely and always followed his heart—a true example of how life should be lived. Despite his young age, he possessed a mature spirit and offered wise advice. But perhaps the best guidance he gave was through his actions: by showing the world the importance of enjoying God's gifts.

He was a kind and generous person, always willing to help others without expecting anything in return. His kindness came as naturally as his smile.

A fearless poet filled with love, charisma, laughter, and empathy, Javier was always smiling. His handsome smile and teasing eyes reflected the joy he found in life. He embraced every moment with passion and left no regrets, always doing what his heart desired.

He wants us all to remember that he lived his life freely—and joyfully.

"Remember: I was free as I wanted to be."
