Jean E. Brewster, age 78, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2021. Mrs. Jean Brewster was born on February 2nd, 1943, in Chicago, IL. Wife to late, Michael Brewster and previously, Gentry Blaylock. Daughter of Refugio Ralph Macias Jr. and Margaret Ulloa Macias. Jean was the oldest sibling to Mary Ann (Kenny) Womack, Judy (late, Arvin) Brazier, Margaret (Jim) Countryman, Elaine Macias, and Ralph (Tammy) Macias. Also survived by her daughter, Yolanda Lentes; grandmother to, Rick Lentes, Nicole Lentes, and Jeanna (David) Gilarski; great grandmother to, Jordan Leib, Thomas Gilarski, and Amy Gilarski. Aunt to 15 nieces and nephews. When you thought of Jean you thought of two things, family, and faith. Jean lost her husband Michael 8 years ago. Her love for him was the love we all wish to find. Jean loved her family, her grandkids, and great grandkids. They brought her so much joy. Jean was an active member of her church Full Gospel Tabernacle of South Chicago Heights. The members of Full Gospel Tabernacle of South Chicago Heights were her family. She has been a member for 30 years. Jean would help and volunteer regularly at the church and always attend their events. In her spare time, Jean loved to be with her family and loved to play games. Her favorite activates to do with the grandkids and great grandkids kids were to decorate for holidays. Another pastime for Jean was shopping and going to a fancy meal. Jean will be missed by all. May she rest in peace with her loved ones. Funeral services for Jean will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet IL.
