Jeanette E. Miller (nee Brant), age 63, passed away Saturday September, 29, 2018. Survived by her husband of 14 years, Rick Miller; loving mother of James (Pam) Steffen, Joe Steffen, stepson Jeff (Alyssa) Miller and step daughter Megan Miller. Her brothers Mike Brant and Steve (Myra Castongia) Brant; stepbrother Mitch (Kim) Curtis and step sister Annie (Jack) Galloway. Precious grandmother of Aaron Zellner, Miranda Zellner, Andrew Steffen, Avree Miller, Sophia Miller, Sadie Miller and Addalyn Miller. Also, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Ernest (Shirley) Brant and Meta Ann Brant and a brother in infancy. Born on February 9, 1955. She drove a school bus for the Dwight School for 15 years and loved all the children as her own. Jeanette loved spending time with her family and one of her favorite things was to keep an immaculate home including the yard work. She was a very loving and supporting wife. Visitation will be held at the Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 4PM-8PM. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial to Kankakee Hospice will be appreciated.
