JoAnn A. Glisson, age 83, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

Survived by her husband of 64 years, Walter Lee Glisson; children, Walter John (Marjorie) Glisson, Rebecca Ann (David Burian) Glisson and Thomas Robert (Jennifer) Glisson; grandchildren, Daniel (Stephanie) Glisson, Michael Glisson, Kimberly Glisson, Nicholas Burian, Grace Burian, Nora Glisson, and Jonathan Glisson; great-grandchildren, Oakley and Daxton Glisson.

Preceded in death by her parents, John (Anna) Budwitis, and her siblings

JoAnn was a homemaker and a Den mother with the Cub scouts. She was an Avid Chicago Cubs fan with her family. JoAnn adored her children and grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for JoAnn will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431 on Sunday August 11, 2024, from 1:00pm- 4:00pm. Private entombment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
