John G James Born September 10, 1941 at rest September 1, 2017, to George and Anna James. John was an educator for many years. In 1976 he opened his own business. John was very proud of his Greek Heritage and loved his family and friends. John is preceded in death by his parents, his son Todd and brother Leo James, father and mother-in-law Larry and Dorothy Berkes. John is survived by his loving wife who was by his side, Laurie for 30 years, son Christopher James, Daughter Tracy Berkes, sisters Tina Franke, Cleo (Gary) Yocum, sister-in -law Teri (Vito) Papa, Pat (Henry) Kovis, Mary Berkes, Christine Berkes, Brother -in-law Larry (Susan) Berkes, as well as his Cherry Hill coffee club guys. John also leaves many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the doctors that gave John such great care Dr Karla Shively and Dr Ramduri. Cremation rights for John were private. Internment of cremains was at Woodlawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
