Jolene Dukes, age 87, passed Saturday, January 19, 2019. Survived by her children, William (Sharel) Holmes, Jay (LeeAnn) Dukes and Patti (Mike) Forst; her grandchildren, April (Sean) Gaynor, Kevin Holmes, Chris Holmes and Kirklin Dukes; her great grandchildren Shane Gaynor and Skyler Holmes. Jolene was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Dukes; her parents George White Sr. and Thelma Hulbert; and her brothers Robert (Harriet) White, Billy Murl White and George White Jr. Jolene was born in Coffeyville, Kansas on January 11, 1932. She was a former resident of Shorewood, IL. Jolene was a member of American Legion Post 5, the Auxiliary FVW Cantigny Post 367 and the Joliet Moose #300 Funeral services will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431 on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Visitation from 10:00 AM. until time of services. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet, IL.
