Jonathan "Ginger" O'Connell, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 30, 2021. Survived by his daughter, Annaleah O'Connell; his mother, Brenda O'Connell; his siblings, Brittany O'Connell, Courtney O'Connell, and Nicholas Graves; Godfather to, Jacob Cancino; mother of his daughter, Diana Pineda; aunts and uncles, Luvina (Steve), Marty (Josie), Matt, Cindy (Val), Connie (Bob), Mark (Debbie), and Michael (Pam); cousins, Joshua, Jessie (Jose), Rebecca (Andres), Andrea (Victor), Thomas (Nancy), Savanna (Noelle), Logan (Kerlisa), Lucas, Cheyenne, and Liam and many friends also survive. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas (Earlene) Brady and Phillip (Mary) O'Connell and his aunt, Janice Brady. Ginger touched so many people and always got along with everyone. He was such a goofy and loving person. His personality allowed him to stand out and was the light of all the parties. Jonny was always on the dance floor dancing, always happy, and always smiling. Jonny adored his beautiful daughter and she adored him. Funeral services for Jonathan will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60431, Friday, September 3, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until time of services. Per Jonathan's wishes cremation rites will be accorded following services.
