Joseph George Laska Jr.

March 31, 1958 – March 15, 2025

Joseph George Laska Jr., 66, passed away on March 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

A proud Army veteran, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Joe lived a life of dedication, kindness, and strength.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Toni Laska; his sons, Joseph (Tracy) and Mark (Jessica); and his beloved grandchildren, Jackson, Liam, Wyatt, Callista, Bridget, and Eloise. He also leaves behind his brother, Richard Laska, and niece, Jennifer Laska.

Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Matt and Donna Benzschawel; his mother, Judy Utarus, and stepfather, Al Utarus; his father, Joseph Laska, and stepmother, Leona Laska; and his brother, Ronald Laska.

Joe's legacy of love and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His family will carry forward his wisdom, strength, and unwavering care for others.

A memorial gathering of family and friends to honor his life will be held at the Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 West Jefferson Street on Monday, March 24,2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Inurnment and Military Honors will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
