Juan Avila, age 75, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Teresa Avila; children, Everardo Farias, Margarita Mosso, Rosario Farias, Amadeo Avila, Delia Aguilar, Nelida Baez, Elvia Perez, TeresaSan doval, Efrain Avila, Juan Avila, Javier Avila, Ernestina Rivera and Oscar Avila; 27 grandchildren; 4 Great grandchildren. Many other family and friends also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, Francisco (Guadalupe) Avila. Juan Avila lived his life surrounded by those he loved. He provided so much love and warmth to those around him. Although no longer physically on Earth, he will continue to shine brighter than the sun and will continue to provide warmth in our hearts. Visitation for Juan will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St., Joliet, IL. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 404 N. Hickory Street, Joliet, IL, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Joliet.
