Juana 'Joann' R. Spyrdz (nee Quintero) Born: January 24, 1927 Died: June 11, 2016 Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Survived by her two sons Jesse (Liliana) Diaz and Rudy (Carla) Diaz; grandchildren Jennifer (Steve) Clement and Mark (Sarah) Diaz; great-grandchildren Bryson and Noah Clement and Nicholas Diaz. Preceded in death by her late husband Jesus Tomas Diaz; brother Pedro Quintero; and parents Armando and Caridad (nee Delgado) Quintero. Born in Cuba. Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Joliet. Juana was an excellent mother who sacrificed her whole life to care for her two sons, she was deeply in love with her children and will greatly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Park I 1:00 PM. Inurnment will also be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park I. There will be no funeral home services.
